...and I'm not being facetious. (Anyone who knows me knows that I am a Republican.) Representative Diane Watson is Democrat. And today as I read this statement made in 2001 when Rep. Watson and Rep. Dan Burton (R) introduced a bill to ban mercury amalgams (H.R. 1680), she won my heart and mind...at least on this issue!
I only read Senator Watson's statement for the first time today and I have to admit, I was very impressed with the intensity and intelligence of her remarks. I encourage you to read it for yourself.
